FHE(Y) B series

Easy to install

The new Daikin FHE(Y)B systems are specifically designed to air condition guest bedrooms. Because the system is modular in concept, units can be installed and commissioned on a room by room basis with no disturbance to hotel guests or the day to day running of the hotel itself.

1. The suction grille can be located at the bottom or rear side of the indoor unit.
2. The air duct between the indoor unit and discharge grille can be up to 0.5m long.
3. The indoor unit drain can be connected to the bathroom drain. For easy mounting, the drain pan can be positioned to either right or left of the unit, depending on the location of the bathroom.
4. Indoor and outdoor units are connected via two small copper tubes.

Indoors...

Compact dimensions (230 mm high x 652 mm deep) enable FHE(Y)B indoor units to be mounted easily within a ceiling void. Since only the suction and discharge grilles are visible, the system will blend in with any interior decor.

as well as outdoors... The outdoor unit is neat and sturdy and can be easily installed on a balcony, the roof or an outside wall. It is anti-corrosion treated to withstand severe weather conditions

Easy to Operate

Daikin FHE(Y)B air conditioning systems can be operated by means of a remote, fixed controller with LCD indicators. Easy to read and simple to operate, the controller enables the air conditioning to be switched on and off and allows the operating mode, temperature setting and fan speed to be individually varied when necessary.

The indoor unit may also be switched off via remote operation: by opening or closing the bedroom door for example or via connection to a local central on/off system at the reception.

In the event of power failure, the system will restart automatically at its original settings when power is restored.

Easy to maintain

A special self-diagnostic function simplifies maintenance procedures by indicating system faults or operating anomalies as soon as they occur. The switch box can be reached easily via a side panel.

The built in air filter (optional) removes dust particles to ensure clean, breathable air. It can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and rinsed with cool water. A display on the remote controller indicates when filter cleaning is necessary.

Super silent

Daikin air conditioning systems are renowned for their extremely quiet operation. The sound pressure level of the FHE B is a remarkable 28dB(A) at low fan speed. Only the sheer pleasure of the indoor environment betrays the unit's presence. Also, the silent compressor in the outdoor unit is guarenteed not to disturb the quiet of the neighbourhood.

Multi system

For applications where space is at a premium, up to five indoor units can be connected to a single Multi outdoor unit. All indoor units can be operated individually, within the same operating mode (cooling or heating).

Daikin systems also enable different models to be installed to suit the size, shape and use of the rooms in question.
